Year 5 Adventure at Cotswold Wildlife Park
We had a fantastic (if slightly tiring) day exploring Cotswold Wildlife Park, where the children saw their classroom learning truly come to life. This visit provided a brilliant hands-on link to our Geography and Science units on Rainforests, allowing the children to observe diverse animal habitats and exotic plant species up close.
A real highlight was our time in the bat house; seeing these creatures in person was the perfect follow-up to our Writing unit on The Importance of Bats. While the children were certainly exhausted by the journey home, their enthusiasm for the natural world was wonderful to see.
