Lower Phase Harvest Assembly

On Wednesday 18th October, Lower Phase presented a Harvest Assembly to our parents. This was done in the style of Talk for Writing.

The children performed the story of, 'The Enormous Turnip' with superb actions to illustrate and explain the story. They also sang beautifully many harvest related songs including the children's favourite, 'Mr. Scarecrow'.

The assembly was a huge success and it was very well attended by the parents and carers of the children in Lower Phase.

With the thought of harvest in mind, as a school, we collected food donations on behalf of the One Can Trust to help support our local community. The One Can Trust were overwhelmed and hugely appreciative of the donations collected. They stated that this would make a massive difference to many families in High Wycombe, especially during these challenging times.
